I am drooling over the new papers from Envelopments. They have a gorgeous Peony paper (shown), beautiful prints, and some new shades in their matte and metallic papers. We love showing brides the beautiful swatch books and all of the choices they have when designing custom wedding invitations. Designing custom wedding invitations can be daunting, but don’t worry! Allison and I can guide you through the process making it painless and fun.
We first bring out the swatchbooks! You can feel the paper and see the actual colors. We narrow down your wedding colors, choosing at least 3 different shades. We then choose the type of pocket you want, or decided on a back layer and the color for the inserts. Last but not least, the envelope ( they come in so many different shades!). Once the paper colors are decided on we talk about the design elements you want on your wedding invitation. We listen to what you want, and then design a few wedding invitations for your review. We work together with you to ensure that your wedding invitations are unique, and show your personality. Once we finalize the design, Allison and I make you an actual sample of your wedding invitation. A real invitation you can hold and keep until your wedding invitations are ready.
The whole process takes about a month from start to finish. Did I mention we also can coordinate wedding day pieces? Placecards, table numbers, favor tags, and thank you notes. It is always a nice touch to carry on your colors and design element right through to your wedding day.
Prices? The prices vary on paper choice, quanity and how many inserts you need. Custom pocket wedding invitaions start at $9.00 an invitation. If you forgo the pocket the cost can be a lot less.
