Should you put a picture on your Save The Date? In my opinion- Yes!! Personally, I love to open up a Save The Date and see a cute fridge worthy picture of the bride and groom. As with any Save The Date, remember that you are asking your guests to put your wedding on their calendar. Some of the information that is crucial to be included- is the date of the wedding and the location of wedding- at a minimum. If you are getting married in an area where hotels are limited, you may want to include lodging information or a wedding website with more information for your guests. Your Save The Dates should be mailed at least 4-8 months before your wedding. If most of your guests are local, then sending your Save The Dates 4 months before the wedding is perfectly fine. If you are having a destination wedding and your guests need to purchase plane tickets, you may want to send out our Save The Dates 8-12 months before your wedding day.
